iPhone Mini 12 is not recognized by my PC using Windows 10 Home

My PC (Windows 10 version 22H2) cannot recognize my iPhone Mini 12 (version 16.3.1). The iTunes version is 12.12.8.2.

After trying several times finally the device appears but shows no content. When I try to sync it, I get the message "The "iPhone" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-54)"

I try a number of times unsuccessfully. Any advice?

iPhone not recognized via usb after upgrade to iTunes 12.13.1 Hi, running Windows 11, iPhone XS Max I did a backup of the iPhone on iTunes 12.10, then upgraded iTunes to 12.13.1 and now the iPhone is not recognized by iTunes when connecting via usb. Only change was the iTunes upgrade (didn't want to confuse things with more than one change). It all worked well with the previous version of iTunes (12.10....) only after the upgrade to iTunes 12.13.1 is the phone not recognized and thus can't be backed up, restored, ..... Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Bernie

iTunes 12.13.4.4 quit recognizing my iPhone in windows 11 after updating I plugged my iPhone 11 into my PC this morning by USB connection and started up iTunes for a routine backup of the phone. First thing iTunes updated phone to IOS 18.3, whereupon my phone was no longer recognized by iTunes. I did all the usual stuff-- restarted both devices, swapped cables, opened and closed software. Nothing helps. My PC beeps when connecting and disconnecting the phone, Windows explorer "sees" the phone, and the "Apple Devices" app fully accesses the phone. So, I suspect IOS 18.3 is the culprit. Hints, tips? Thanks.
