my phone was stolen and I can’t remember my Apple ID

my phone was stolen and I can’t remember my Apple ID password and wish to change the password however it’s all connected to my old number that I cannot access, my phone has been marks as lost on find my iPhone. I’m just not sure how I can go around accessed my account again and if I can get it back at all 😢
