iOS is the Operating system for iDevices such as iPad and iPhone.

MacOS is the Operating system that runs Macs.

You can not install iOS or apply iOS update to a Mac.

¿what GROSS symptoms are you having?

I've seen a few posts of others describing this issue, but those users saw it occur with a previous macOS update IIRC.

My screen blinking issue was solved after installing to the newest Mac OS Ventura update 13.4 (22F66) released two days ago. No more blinking screen after startup. Thanks to all who replied to my question.

My question should have read:

14” Silicon MacBook Pro Max 1 Chip late 2021 issue after installing The screen blinks (goes black momentarily twice after I bootup and the login screen appears. I never noticed it before installing Ventura Mac OS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) Apple's Rapid Security Response update.
