“You are not connected to the internet”

i keep getting this error message. I’ve tried resetting all kinds of ways. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Apple Watch app. My iPhone is updated which I did yesterday so I don’t really know what else to do.

Hello yulisa163,

As your iPhone is what pulls the Apple Watch update from the servers and delivers it, then that'll be what we want to focus on. So let's start by following the steps on If your iPhone or iPad won't update - Apple Support under "If you can't reach the update server or can't verify the update". Make sure you're connected to a normal Wi-Fi, not a guest network or VPN. Likewise, make sure that the Apple Watch is connected to the same network.

Cheers!
