I got a new mac and microsoft word won't work
I got a new mac and my powerpoint, excel, and word don't work. I did the microsoft updates and it says it updated the word but it still has a no slash through it

So that we can help you best, please tell us which Mac, model and year you’re having trouble with, and what macOS version you’re running. Find that info by clicking the Apple menu () at the top-left of your screen and then select About This Mac.
As I understand it, the newest versions of Microsoft Office apps will not run on macOS 10.15 or older. You'll need to find alternate office applications such as Apple’s own (free) Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
Also consider LibreOffice as a replacement.
