Top of the screen info is no longer enlarged when you touch it

On my iPhone 11, touching the informational displays at the top of the screen such as time, bars, battery level, no longer creates a window in the center of the screen with another large version of the info. What's up

iPhone 11, iOS 16

The problem has been solved by going to "text size" in control center and increasing the size, in my case randomly selecting 135% . Now, touching any of the icons such as time, battery, percentage, etc. produces the desired, enlarged, information in the center of the screen. I do not remember having changed the text size previously, but decided to give it a try.

Sorry, I never saw the behavior you're describing.

If you're talking about the Control Center, it can be activated only swiping down from the top right corner (you can have difficulties to do that if a cover/screen protector/dirt interferes with your touch screen).

If you mean something different, please specify your needs better.

I'm speaking of the time at the top of the screen shown on the left, then, the number of bars, the Wi-Fi strength, and then the battery level shown on the right. This appears on just about every screen, including when you first open the phone. Again I used to be able to touch any of these icons and square window would appear in the middle of the screen showing in large version of the information I touched. Had nothing to do with a Control Center, just a normal screen and I don't know why it has stopped doing this.
