I have already subscribed to Apple One and have music included in that subscription. For a particular track, when I locate it from Shazam to Apple Music, it asks me to sign up for Apple Music. Since I have subscribed, I am not sure it asks me for subscription again.

Did you cancel your stand alone Music subscription before subscribing to Apple One?
If the answer to all 3 questions questions is yes, then your Apple Music subscription is currently inactive and will not reactivate until the Apple One Free trial is over and you are charged for it the first time.
There was no need to cancel your stand alone Apple Music subscription when subscribing to Apple One. It automatically transfers. If you cancel the stand alone subscription, then you can not access it during the Apple One free trial.

Then that is a very strange bug.
Other than closing both the Music App and Shazam, and restarting the iPhone, I'm not sure what else to suggest.
Does Apple Music work otherwise?
When you access the Apple Music subscription directly from the Music app instead of from Shazam?
If you tap on the Listen Now tab in the Music App directly does it work?
Thanks Phil but I have had subscription to Apple One for many months now so not a trial version. Had cancelled the standalone music subscription as well. Still this issue exists. Could this be an issue for specific music tracks which follow a different revenue model? If yes, then the message prompt to subscribe is incorrect.
Yes. Music works fine otherwise. I can download, play songs otherwise.
