Can't set up Automation on my iphone for message on one day only

I just Can't set up Automation on my iphone for imessage on one day only. When I set it up, its defaulted to "daily" under repeat. There's weekly and monthly but not a one off?

If I want to schedule it for say in two days, I can't do that either?

Scheduling text messages on iphone Looks like this functionality is finally here on ios18. Seems to work well if sending messages to other iPhone users, but if sending texts via SMS to non-iPhone users, the “send later” option doesn’t appear [Edited by Moderator]

Scheduling Texts on iPhone Scheduling a text with iOS is not easy using the Shortcuts app, and the „Scheduled” app makes you pay for it. Is there any way to schedule a text without paying for it? And one that is easy to use? (And if not, is there any way you can send feedback to apple about potentially adding scheduled messaging to iMessage?)
