lost my airpods so will it be covered by apple care

I have lost my airpods in the school and couldn't find but have apple care so wondering will it be covered . Can i get a new one.

Click here, follow the instructions, and contact the school staff. AppleCare doesn't cover lost or stolen AirPods; replacements can be ordered through the article, but not for free.
