Removing Activation Lock

Apple approved my request to remove Activation Lock and sent an email saying my iPad is ready to be setup with a new Apple ID but it hasn't been the case, even after following the instructions in the email and resetting my device. Do I have to wait for some time for the approval to actually be effected, before I should reset my device ?

As Apple have administratively removed the Activation Lock from the back-end servers, if the instructions you have received are not working for you, you should seek assistance directly from Apple Support:
