I keep getting Bill Payment APPLE COM ONE showing up on my bank statement

I keep getting Bill Payment APPLE COM ONE / APPLE PARK WAY US CUPERTINO CAUS showing up on my bank statement; these purchases are for $19.00, and seem to repeat every 4-6 days. These do NOT show up in my Apple Wallet, but my debit card is being charged. Does anyone else have this issue, and does anyone know what can be done about it? I hate seeing Apple siphon off my money in my bank account when I don't subscribe to any Apple service.

I had a charge on my bank statement of $74.19 yesterday saying the same thing but nothing in Apple purchases. Called Apple and made a report considering they said they couldn’t find anything under my account. I did discover Cupertino is where the main Apple office is located which is suspicious. Now I have to cancel my card and dispute the charges. Something is 🐟 with Apple….

Apple Support Community has no access to your personal or financial information. We can’t see what you’re seeing or experiencing.

Have you looked at,

https://reportaproblem.apple.com/

and do you see the charges in question? If so, you can request a refund if they aren’t your charges. Charges are attached to an Apple ID, which if you see them, and you didn’t authorize them, your Apple ID password is compromised.

If you don’t see the charges, then your credit card is compromised.

Apple emails me a receipt for all my charges. Are you receiving the emails? If not where/how are you becoming aware of the charges?

What payment method was used? If this link doesn’t have a matching charge ($ dollar amount), then it may be a fraudulent charge, and will need to be reported to the fraud department at your payment methods servicing bank. Use the number on the back of the physical card to reach their support team.

Im a fellow Apple user, just like you. How do you want to move forward? Do you want contact information for official Apple Support or are you here for support from fellow Apple users?

Noticing a pattern here--most of these posts report having their debit cards charged. Over the years, I have learned never to use a debit card as a recurring payment source: you have little-to-no recourse if your account gets hacked. Once the money's gone, it's gone. Credit cards (especially those with excellent fraud protection) and PayPal (backed up with a credit card) are much safer and if hacked can reverse charges, cancel the card and issue a new one. My son is a fraud mitigation specialist for a multinational online business, and he says this happens all the time. The victims who'd used American Express or Discover get satisfactory resolutions, but not those who'd used debit cards. Sorry this is happening to so many. (I watch my statements--and card-issuer e-mail "card not present to make a purchase" notifications like a hawk, and I double-check to see if the charges were legit or fraudulent).

I feel for those who have only debit, rather than credit, cards--I understand that is a common situation for those with no or poor credit ratings. Been there myself decades ago. Sad that cash is beginning to go the way of the dinosaurs.

The reality of the situation here is the charges are actually legitimate charges from Apple billing services around the world. All credit card charges on statements are cryptic. I get calls all the time from customers wanting to know what the charge is for.

You are correct that too many people, especially those under 35 are unfamiliar with credit cards and their use and safety features. I know many millennials that only have a debit card and swear they’ll never have a credit card.
