Apple Tv

I just bought a new Windows 11 laptop, and downloaded the Apple Tv app. The app launches and I am able to log in and see previews of shows and movies, looks like everything is working fine However when I click on the play button or resume episode button to watch an actual episode nothing happens. I can click on the button all day long but the show is not launched.


Is there a security setting that is not allowing the video to launch? Are there any logs I can look at to see what the issue might be?

The Apple TV app for Windows is still in preview, that is not finalized and Apple advices there may be issues and some features may not work as expected.



Other than trying to remove and re-install it, Apple does not offer any troubleshooting info on it at this time.
