I just bought this Iphone 14 Max leather case through the Apple website and the case does not fit the phone.
The hole for the lenses is off set slight which mean the the phone will not sit down into the case resulting in the side buttons now working as they dont fit into the slots. NO HAPPY!!

On your phone, go to Settings > General > About. What does it say next to Model Name?
It sounds like you may have an iPhone 14 Plus but bought a 14 Pro Max case, or vice versa.

Regardless of the underlying reason, if it doesn’t fit, return it to Apple within the 14-day window for refund.

i just went to an Apple store as my old iphone cover was due to replacement. First there were almost NO iphone 14 covers because now everything is about iphone 15. from the few left, i bought one (the sales person picked it for me). it is the CORRECT cover but it has a factory mistake - the buttons are 1-2mm lower than the position of the buttons and my phone is non stop turning on off or changing the screen. i of course didnt take a recipt as the cover fit in the store and the sales person assured me its the correct one. so now i took it off, and 2 min later, of course the phone slips and cracks. How come with so many reports Apple does not RECALL the faulty covers ???
