iPhone Storage

Hi. I switched from iPhone 8 to 12 and my storage capacity is supposed to be 128gb but when I try to install the update it shows not enough space. 61.2 gb used out of 64gb. My old phone was 64 gb. New one should have 128gb.

Why is it so?

Moreover it’s not iCloud. I have a subscription of 50gb there too.

Pretty frustrating!

The iPhone 12 was manufactured with storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

You can confirm which storage capacity is on your iPhone 12 by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Capacity: Here, Check the total capacity. If it states 64GB, then your iPhone capacity is 64GB.
