iPad Pro battery draining whilst in Smart Keyboard

My IPad Pro 5th gen will be at 100% and then will drain to 0% overnight when left in the Smart Keyboard. The Battery indicates that the Home Lock screen is using 100% of the power. Any fixes/suggestions?

iPad Pro battery drain issue after iPadOS 18.4 update I have two IPad Pro (M4) and both immediately starting draining battery at rate of around 50% per hour while using Safari after the 18.4 update. I am very technical, I have let both adjust for a day or two, plugged in and on battery, have restarted multiple times, have disabled extensions, etc. But this seems to be a bug in power management in Safari and 18.4 only, as both actually get warm to the touch while this happens. Any other activity doesn't exhibit this behavior and both batteries are at >98% capacity as I have been limiting their charge. Anyone else see this? And no I am not going to start by backing up, erasing and reloading everything, what I call the default Microsoft "fix" to every issue. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

iPad Air M2 battery draining rapidly after iPadOS 18.3 update I bought my Ipad Air M2 last week and recently I updated it into 18.3. After the update my battery drains rapidly and on standby. I charged my Ipad into 78% before sleeping and I woke up and the battery is 46%. What should I do? Wifi, bluetooth, and location is off. I also turn off background app, push mail, and many more but it stays the same. I tried to reset the Ipad but it didn’t work. Please help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Presumably the problem is not evident when the iPad is not connected to your Smart Keyboard. If so, your Keyboard or iPad may have fault.

You would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad and Smart Keyboard:
