I need more than 2TB of storage, how can I get more?

I am a major video and picture taker, a bit of a hoarder if you will. Its extremely stressful for me to delete pictures and videos cause I have bad memory and like to look back on my memories. So I don't want to delete pictures. I share a family plan with my husband, he only uses like 100gb of the storage. We recently ran out and non of our storage is updating. We were thinking of buying him the 2TB storage then he can share with me? Would that work? Verizon employee said they weren't sure and possibly he would lose all the pictures and videos of his if he disconnected from mine. I would like to buy more storage from apple but it doesn't look like an option. How can I get this option?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 16

If he obtains a 2TB plan and shares with you, when you switch to his plan, your current plan is cancelled. See the following from Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support

If a family member is already paying for their own iCloud+ plan, they can choose to switch to your plan or keep their own and still remain part of the family. When they switch to the shared family plan, they get a refund for the remainder of their personal plan. They can't keep their current plan and use the shared family plan at the same time.

There is an option for more storage but it requires subscribing to Apple One. See the following from What happens to your iCloud storage when you sign up for Apple One - Apple Support

If you need more iCloud storage

After you subscribe to Apple One, you can buy more iCloud storage if you need more. With both Apple One and an iCloud+ plan, you can have up to 4TB of total iCloud storage.
