iTunes default Media Location Windows 10

Hello,

Whilst I can use the "Shift" key on launch to choose a new library location as I would like to store iTunes and All Media on a second drive, however I use Windows 10 with a draft of issues. My issue is even as I search this seems to be only way to get itunes not to fill your c:\ however when I create the new library as I can not choose the one already there no ITL file, it now will not show all the movie downloads?.

So even now i reinstalled entire PC to get this to work lost all the downloads again as this app can not support a path to save media to ?. This seem crazy and I think willgive up on iTunes and stick to streaming as this just does not work, it seem they really dont want to help unless you use apple OS which does not run 80% of the software i need.

Press and hold down shift as you launch iTunes. Keep holding until you get the option to choose or create a library. If you use the create option you can navigate to a new path, e.g. D:\ and create a new library there as D:\iTunes. This would then use the media folder D:\iTunes\iTunes Media. You can move your existing media into that and add it to the library. If you want to preserve ratings, play counts, playlists, etc. from an existing library see Make a split library portable - Apple Community for advice on rearranging your content.
