I want to play the game with its related sounds off while talking on the phone. How to turn it off.

There are several GAME Apps I use, that despite silent settings, turn on SOUNDS when the dreadful (and frequent) ads play. I have sent messages to WordWars support that have been ignored. I have also asked why both Virginia & California Privacy Laws are being ignored. I should not have to beg for replies. Is Apple no longer concerned with these issues?

Apple has no control over how apps work, as long as they conform to Apple’s guidelines. Ads play because you are not paying for the apps; I’m sure they have paid modes with no ads. But if you aren’t paying the developers still want their paychecks; they are not a charity, so their only option is to sell ad space. The simple solution is to switch to the paid version of the game apps you want to play.

And what does showing you ads have to do with privacy laws?
