2023 ipad the minimum volume still way too loud

Hi! There is no way to do this permanently, but you can adjust the volume more precisely in Control Center:

1. Swipe down from the top right edge of the screen
2. Drag the volume slider, which is next to the brightness slider

For extra precision, you can hold your finger on the volume slider in Control Center, which will bring up a bigger version of the volume slider.

Try playing around with the EQ settings. I'm not too sure if it works for apps other than Music, but it's worth giving it a shot:

1. Open Settings
2. Scroll to find Music
3. Tap Music > EQ

Within the Music menu, you can also turn off Sound Check, which basically matches the volume of every song.

this really helped as the ipad volume is way louder than a iPhone volume, after I got a computer I’ve only really ever used my iPad at night and the 1 volume is too loud, I don’t know how I didn’t realize the slider could micro adjust the sound.

i have the opposite problem. My ipad 10 Gen, even though it has 4 speakers is too low. Any suggestions?
