Brother Drucker MFC L 3750 Appleprint

Muß ein zusätzlicher Druckertreiber geladen werden, da ich auf dem MAC Book Pro auch mit Windows arbeiten kann, aber nicht die Vorzüge von Appleprint bei Ausdruck Dokumente von Windows zugreifen kann.

Ist ein weiterer Druckertreiber überhaupt möglich im MAC OS?

Where did "Bonjour plus AirPrint" disappear-to as an option? And, why? With "Big Sur" and before, I had no problems attaching my HP Color LaserJet – which supports "AirPrint." It simply appeared to "Bonjour," and one of my options was "Secure AirPrint." Boom. Over and done. With Monterey – I don't know yet about Ventura – this is no longer an option. "AirPrint" can only be selected (and, it's not "secure" anymore) if I describe the printer by its "IP Address." This makes utterly no technical sense to me. It should not matter how I choose to "find" my printer – and, until very recently, it didn't. Why did Monterey remove this? And, did Ventura bring it back?

I DO NOT want to use AirPrint with my Epson ET-8550. How do I prevent this from automatically happening? Bought an Epson ET-8550 and do not want AirPrint handling color management. I have watched Keith Cooper's installation video and Jose Rodriguez's. Both say don't allow AirPrint to be selected as driver but how do I prevent that? They don't give any info on that and I see queries from lots of people who have had AirPrint inadvertently loaded as default. So how do I stop this from happening? I'm worried I'll be stuck with a $700 paperweight or need to switch to a PC. TIA Mack
