Apple TV and Ipad only shows (-100) password error won’t forget

My Apple TV and my iPad both won’t connect to my changed router password but it doesn’t allow me to enter a password at all just goes straight to incorrect error message.

I reset and restarted all devices and tried doing other network and adding from there but still only immediately will the incorrect password error message show it says (-100) without allowing me to enter or forget previous.

Do you have the Apple TV box? Which model?

Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Find your Apple TV model number - Apple Support

Try the steps as mentioned in: If your Apple TV can't connect to Wi-Fi - Apple Support
Try the ‘Other…’ option instead of selecting a listed discovered network. Especially if the password has been changed for the same previously used network name (SSID).
For Apple TV (4th generation or earlier), verify that the router or access point isn’t set to use WPA3, as only device models from ~2018 or later support that. Instead use ‘WPA2/WPA3 Transitional’. Some users reported having to set ‘WPA2’-only first.
