Received this device and worked great when tested in the house. Tried it months later in the camper and nothing. Doesn’t work in the house now either. Switched up the connectors, HDMI, still nada. Tried with both iPhone XR and iPad Air. Any suggestions?

Appears from what you posted, that this adapter may have failed. It should be covered by the Apple one year warranty. As such, I suggest that you take it to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options. If they determine that the failure is due to a manufacturing defect, you may get a replacement for free.
