Outlook Mobile do not show avatar on iPhone 14 Plus

Hi everyone

Outlook Mobile not showing avatars on IOS iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone is updated to the latest IOS 16.5 and the app is also perfectly up to date

to mention that it is a new terminal and I have no previous feedback because it is first use

but... running the same account always with Outlook app, on another iPhone model 13 with IOS updated to 16.4.1 (a) avatars are seen correctly

app settings are IDENTICAL on both devices

I can't figure out what's causing it

any help from community ?

I managed to find the solution, the two display modes "compact" and "welcoming" does not allow the display of avatars

two things to mention:

1. despite having wiped the phone and re-setting the APP for a strange case, even with different accounts, it keeps the previous display setting, I have not investigated "where" it saves these settings, certainly in Apple iCloud or OneDrive from Microsoft

2. I don't have the slightest idea how this configuration is set up, certainly almost impossible to find "where" it is configured:

- settings of Outlook mobile --> Preferences --> Appearance --> "Density" <-HERE: only ROOMY setting show avatars

Hey mabuzee,

Did this issue occur after you updated the iOS to 16.5? If you haven't yet, make sure you restart the device to see if it helps, since this can often resolve abnormal behavior that you may experience: Restart your iPhone

Also, we can try deleting the Outlook app and then reinstall it from the App Store, which can help isolate if the app itself may be experiencing an issue rather than the iPhone: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Once deleted, download it again and let us know if it makes any difference: Download apps and games on your iPhone or iPad

I have a iPhone 14 how come I don’t have the avatar in my settings that I could use on Facebook like my friends do
