What caused myiPhone 14 Pro to suddenly go completely dead overnight while charging?

Does anyone know why an iPhone 14 Pro would suddenly go completely dead overnight while charging? I woke up to find my phone with a blank screen, completely unresponsive to screen taps or any combination of button presses. I tried the quick-press volume up, quick-press volume down, then holding the side button, but still nothing. Then I went to my MacBook and found that my iPhone was still showing up on Find My, so I tried the hard reset sequence again, and it started back up! Obviously, I don't want this to happen again, so I'm wondering if this is a known fault I should have addressed while my phone is still under Apple Care coverage.

While it’s called an iPhone, what you have is a very powerful pocket sized computer that can also make phone calls. And like all computers, sometimes its operating system can crash. That’s what happened to your phone. To reduce the likelihood of this happening in the future it helps to manually restart your phone periodically (weekly, for example)→Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
