Payment cards disappeared from Apple watch

I just updated to the 14 pro max iphone and now my payment cards no longer appear on my apple watch, tickets I've purchased do appear. The iphone has been paired to my watch and in the watch app on the phone it appears that all my payment cards are present and active with correct information but when I double click only my watch only the purchased tickets appear, no payment cards show up. All iOS software is up to date on iphone and watch. I have turned off both watch and phone multiple time and restarted starting with the iphone and then the watch. I have also signed in with my apple ID on both watch and phone. Any ideas why my payment cards no longer appear on my watch.
