Family Sharing Not Working

When I try to add my wife to Family Sharing, the iMessage invitation does not show up, and sometimes stops all following iMessages going through. How can I fix this to add her?

We do not know which Mac model or device you are using,

and

whether you have the latest MacOS or iOS version installed.

Apple Support's article:

Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

explains how to add a family member on the various Apple devices.

Re: "the iMessage invitation does not show up,

and sometimes stops all following iMessages going through".

Macs or devices may need updating to the newest compatible version.

(NB: If you wish to send an invitation, it can also be sent by eMail.)
