Apple 13 pro max White screen of death

So I was on a visit to another city just a day before my birthday on a weekend with no other devices than my phone. In the morning my screen starts flickering and I took it to the nearest Apple Store. The genius there told me it’s probably some software issue because although my 1.3 year old phone looks brand spanking new. I went home and on my birthday my phone has a White screen of death. Back to the Apple centre and they say I need a screen replacement which costs around 500 USD equivalent. I was in bits and pieces. There was not a single scratch on the screen. But with the support of some friends and encouragement of a man I befriended who had the same problem I started a two week long struggle to get them to give me a new screen as this was clearly a quality issue. Finally after an endless struggle and some quality detox without a phone I am reading my birthday wishes with a gift of free screen replacement. Bitter sweet I guess.

I have faced the same issue yellow screen of death on my 13 pro max yesterday I was using my phone and suddenly the screen started flickering and turned yellow. The phone is out of warranty hence they are charging a lot for changing the screen display even though I searched it up and many users are facing the same issue which is apple’s detect and not anyone’s fault so apple should take accountability and help us repair the phone without charging!!!!! So disappointed. I have been a huge apple fan though after this issue I want apple to be banned, charging so much money but what’s the point of buying such an expensive phone when you could have a big issue by apple and then pay them more money.

i am having the same issue can you please help me on how to get my phone fixed, I went to the apple store and they said i need to pay 480 dollar as it is out of warrenty , but the main thing is it isn’t my fault, it is their software issue,

please help me !

I wanted to thank you for sharing your successful claims story. Unfortunately, I'm encountering a similar issue with Apple, and they seem to be ignoring my attempts to explain that it's a software problem on my end. They keep insisting it's a hardware issue. I would greatly appreciate hearing more success stories from other users who have managed to retrieve their claims.

hey I am facing the same issue of yellow screen of death… I was using my phone suddenly it turned into yellow screen. Will they cover for my repair? How to ask them? How to prove them it isn’t our fault? Why is there no awareness regarding this ?
