Mail access problem
I got a message that "Mail cannot access your mailbox information because it's already in use". It tells me how to presumably fix it: Quit Mail; log out of this computer and any other computer you are using; then log back in and open Mail on one computer only. After that I ask the computer to try to rebuild Mailbox information.
The question is: In this instance, does an iPad count as a computer? All I have on the system is this iMac, an iPad and an iPhone. The phone is not set up for mail but the iPad is and it works with no problems. When this problem initially arose there were more things connected so I relied on the iPad only and ignored it on the iMac. Now that that has changed I want to try to fix it on the iMac. If I can leave the iPad alone during the attempted fix that would be preferable but if it is considered to be a computer also then I guess I am stuck with turning it off for a while.
Thanks
