Apple ID for family use in iOS 7 : cannot connect error message

I have created an Apple ID for my daughter using family use. When I try to sign in at an iOS 7 device I am prompted to add a 6 digit code sent to me after I press “connect”. I get a message that there was an error connecting and another code, repeating this process several times without results. I get a message that I may be billed for these messages, after having been sent too many messages.

Trouble accepting a Family Sharing invite Hello, My dad sent me an invite to join his Family Sharing group on Apple, but I can't accept the invitation. Every time I click the link, I just get an error that says "There was a problem loading this page. Try again or come back later." Trying again & coming back later both reliably produce the same failed result (as I have, unfortunately, confirmed through rigorous experimental trials [and tribulations]). I've contacted the Apple Support chat a couple times about this issue, but they seem to get snagged on the fact that I don't have any Apple devices. But I do have an Apple account, and my sister was somehow able to accept her invitation without using or owning an Apple device. I have tried accepting the link across multiple browsers & devices, resending the invite link, sending the link via text message & email both. I've even tried accepting it on my dad's iPad, but since it's associated with his account, it either thought he was trying to accept his own invitation, or I used a private tab in a non-Safari browser & just got the same error page. Has anyone run into this issue, and is there a workaround or solution? I've included a screenshot of the error page, although it's hard to imagine a less helpful error page. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm pretty much stuck at this point, and if I have to enter many more 2FA codes I fear my soul will wither to a point where I may no longer be capable of enjoying the services the Apple platform offers. Cannot change child accounts DOB details - keep getting a server issue. Hello, I’ve tried numerous times over the past few weeks to alter my child’s date of birth as it was entered incorrectly and the account is 13 years. My child is not 13. My child is under my account in family sharing. I could not make this change myself. So I’ve followed the steps to change via logging into my child’s account to enter the correct DOB, which triggers an email to me to verify the change. A text verification is required which for some reason comes through listed as “PayPal: xxxxxx is your security code. Don't share your code.” Via text message. The code has come through this way every single time I’ve tried it. When I enter the code, I get a server error and cannot complete the change. I've attached a screenshot below of the error. If it helps, I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and my child’s phone is a Pro Max 11 [Edited by Moderator]

Unable to set up a new Apple account for a family member It seems thousands of others have this problem too, and there is no resolution. I spent all day today trying to set up a new Apple account for a family member but it REFUSES to accept her phone number. ALL DAY! In addition to numerous chats and phone calls with lower level people, a senior advisor who was very friendly spent 2 hours today and could not solve it. We need to try again in 24 hours! MORE TIME WASTED. He said, next an upper upper upper level tech support team would help. [Edited by Moderator]

Family Sharing requires iOS 8 or higher.
