Unable to set up a new Apple account for a family member
It seems thousands of others have this problem too, and there is no resolution.
I spent all day today trying to set up a new Apple account for a family member but it REFUSES to accept her phone number.
ALL DAY!
In addition to numerous chats and phone calls with lower level people, a senior advisor who was very friendly spent 2 hours today and could not solve it. We need to try again in 24 hours! MORE TIME WASTED. He said, next an upper upper upper level tech support team would help.
