Mac mini (2014).slower that usual- Fusion Drive 2TB
Can someone PLEASE look over the report below and either guide me in a direction that I can try to fix the problem myself or should I just take it back in to Asurion tech repair to see what they can do to fix the problem?
I have a 2014 mac mini 2TB Fusion drive that is running considerably slow.
In 2022, My Mac mini was running slower than what it used to. - So I brought it to Asurion tech repair to see if they could diagnose the problem. They said that my problem was running double of some type of files and that is what was causing it to run slower than usual. Their suggestion was to back up the drive and do a clean install of the OS. I had them do the repair. Took it home, reinstalled other apps I like to use. I ran into an issue of reinstalling Adobe desktop that cannot run on a case sensitive drive. So backed up the hard drive myself with time machine and reformatted the drive as a AFPS non case sensitive format. Performed a clean install of the OS in Recovery Mode then upgrading only to Monterrey. Got Adobe desktop installed . and now my Mac mini runs even slower than before.
Did I create the problem by reinstalling the OS a second time or do I have a Hard drive that is failing? Etrecheck seems to think I have a hard drive failure. Perhaps someone could look over the most recent Etrecheck report and tell me where I may have existing faults/errors or my hard drive is indeed failing or I have too many volumes and containers relating to the install of the OS that the computer doesn't run efficiently? I honestly don't know. Here is the report:
Mac mini, macOS 12.6
