Mac mini (2014).slower that usual- Fusion Drive 2TB

Can someone PLEASE look over the report below and either guide me in a direction that I can try to fix the problem myself or should I just take it back in to Asurion tech repair to see what they can do to fix the problem?

I have a 2014 mac mini 2TB Fusion drive that is running considerably slow.

In 2022, My Mac mini was running slower than what it used to. - So I brought it to Asurion tech repair to see if they could diagnose the problem. They said that my problem was running double of some type of files and that is what was causing it to run slower than usual. Their suggestion was to back up the drive and do a clean install of the OS. I had them do the repair. Took it home, reinstalled other apps I like to use. I ran into an issue of reinstalling Adobe desktop that cannot run on a case sensitive drive. So backed up the hard drive myself with time machine and reformatted the drive as a AFPS non case sensitive format. Performed a clean install of the OS in Recovery Mode then upgrading only to Monterrey. Got Adobe desktop installed . and now my Mac mini runs even slower than before.

Did I create the problem by reinstalling the OS a second time or do I have a Hard drive that is failing? Etrecheck seems to think I have a hard drive failure. Perhaps someone could look over the most recent Etrecheck report and tell me where I may have existing faults/errors or my hard drive is indeed failing or I have too many volumes and containers relating to the install of the OS that the computer doesn't run efficiently? I honestly don't know. Here is the report:

Mac mini, macOS 12.6

For some reason your Fusion Drive is split and you are only running from the slower HDD.

Filesystem: APFS

Mount point: /

Read-only: Yes

Used: 15.42 GB

Shared values

Size: 2.00 TB

Free: 474.36 GB

Available: 506.46 GB

Performance:

System Load: 2.30 (1 min ago) 1.86 (5 min ago) 1.58 (15 min ago)

Nominal I/O usage: 0.98 MB/s

File system: 120.96 seconds (timed out)

Write speed: 20 MB/s

Read speed: 26 MB/s

Note: the Mount point: / drive is only 2.00 TB when it should be 2.12 TB or so as a Fusion Drive setup.

Plus the Write/Read speeds are dismal even for a 5400rpm HDD. They should be around 80 MB/s for a healthy drive.

If both drive come back good, then you should backup and attempt to re-Fuse the SSD and HDD.

If either drive comes back with a problem, then it needs to be replaced. Unfortunately it sounds like you need to find someone better qualified than Asurion, to diagnose and fix the problem.

Definitely agree you need to find another tech since most likely you have multiple problems with this Mac. The beeping sounds like a memory issue which could also possibly cause performance issues. Plus as someone else already pointed out, the Fusion Drive setup appears broken so you are running macOS on the slow spinning hard drive which has speed in the EtreCheck report of at most 30MB/s which is slow. I cannot believe an Apple tech could overlook the split Fusion Drive.

For an older Mac like this, there is a very good chance the hard drive is worn out or even failing as @BDAqua suspects (and I do too). Reinstalling macOS may temporarily mask some failing drive issues, so it usually saves lots of time & aggravation to check the health of the hard drive as suggested by @BDAqua.
