Spelling Check Issue on macOS 13.3.1 (22E772610a) for MacBook Air

I am writing to report an issue encountered on a MacBook Air, currently running macOS 13.3.1 (22E772610a). The problem pertains to the spelling check feature.

Specifically, certain correctly spelled words are being marked as errors. For example, the Russian word "видео" (video) is flagged as incorrect, with the system suggesting a replacement with "вiдео". This issue is not exclusive to any one application, as it seems to occur across various text input fields, including the Notes app.

The system settings only have two default languages installed - Russian and English. Despite this, the spelling check feature seems to be improperly identifying errors where there are none. I have attached screenshots to provide further examples of such instances.

This faulty spell check significantly hampers the user experience, as it causes confusion and can potentially lead to incorrect alterations in text.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this issue and provide a suitable resolution. I am open to further communication to provide any additional information necessary for troubleshooting.

+ Go to the Language and Region settings and make sure that only English and Russian are on the list. Make sure in particular that Ukrainian (or any other cyrillic language) is not on the list.

and make sure that only Russian and English are designated for spellcheck, and possibly use Russian specifically instead of Automatic.

I have described the problem in some detail so that it could be noticed and fixed. This problem was not observed in previous versions of macOS.

If you have verified that going to Set Up in the Spelling pop-up menu and making sure that only English and Russian boxes are checked and find that Automatic does not work right, then report this problem via
