Don't know why that would happen. A 2023 MBP is definitely compatible.

Well, I can't find Ventura version 13.3. Only the main names are included. They also contain the latest versions. For example Montrey latest version or Ventura 13.4 (Lastest Ver) version. How do I find the download link of a subversion with the same name (Ventura)?

Exporting a h.265 master from Resolve Studio 18.5b3 a 4096 x 1710 timeline of Blackmagic raw and mobile phone footage, produces frame corruption and sticking frames. Noticed this since going from macOS 13.3 to 13.4.

Using MacStudio ultra 48core 128gb/2TB.

holy **** - me too ever since the new update and updating final cut my files are black.. audio is playing but there is no thumbnail.. ive spent $500 for a data recovery expert to fix the "broken" files... its great to hear im not alone.. what is happening!!!?? will this be fixed???

Sorry for late reply! This is super helpful but I feel like it's missing a few steps. Are you putting in this command after you've rebooted macOS? Or when you initially make the bootable drive? Or are you copying the installer manually from the applications folder?

Ohhhh is this as in a bootable drive instead of a recovery drive?

I did as you put, but the installer will obviously just go on the main system. Then apple's advise of putting in the installation for recoveryOS will surely just do the latest update?

I have the same problem. I checked all codecs, everything works at all fps except XAVC S 4K 100 fps!!!!

When I record XAVC S 4K 100 fps on my Sony a7siii, my Macbook on M1 Pro 2021 cannot play video! Only black screen and sound.

And in the editing program, too, nothing works! Urgently fix,PLEEEAAASEEEE!

Same issue here!! Reported it already a week ago, had several calls: No solution, progress, or estimated date yet. Apple does not take any ownership of the issue - absolutely lousy!

I am currently stranded with all my editing projects for over a week now, can’t meet any deadlines, thus upset clients and literally losing jobs and money.

I spend almost $5k on my MacBook and over $400 on Apple Care. Absolutely wasted.. Shame on you Apple!

At least not for me.. it still doesn't play my Sony FX3 video files in Preview, Quicktime, or FCPx.
