Trip photos from 2 iPhones

We recently went on a nice vacation. Both my wife and I took pictures on our iPhones. Now we get home and want to share the best photos with each other but when we use a shared folder, it puts the photos in whatever order they’re added to the folder, all mixed up. Is there a way or strategy for us to put photos in a shared folder organized by time stamp so they’re all in a semblance of chronological order? I can think of exporting all to a computer, organizing, and then reimporting to the devices but there must be an easier way. Thanks.
