Duplicate Photy

No duplicate photo album, but I have many duplicates. How do I get it to show up?

I would like to see where each of the duplicates is. Is the duplicate in multiple albums? If so, which album? Is the duplicate perhaps in a shared family album and in "my favorites" album? I organize my albums in a way such that some photos are in more than one or two albums? When I click on "merge" in "duplicates", exactly what is happening? For example, say I have two albums and one is named "DOG" and the other is named "CRAZY DOGS". I have the same photo in each album and that is what I want. When I merge the dog photo in the "duplicates folder"...does it still show up in "DOG" and "CRAZY DOGS" albums?

Shared album photos My granddaughter shared an album with me on my iphone but there are many duplicates. How can I delete the duplicates from my iphone 11? Also, when I try to transfer the photos to my computer they do not show up. Any help would be appreciated.
