Battery charge plunges after watchOS 9.5

Will post my battery percentage at 9pm ET after updating to 9.5.1 that’s 14 hours of normal use which usually stands around 72%

Wow, that’s good news, I would know by 9pm ET after updating to 9.5.1 whether my percentage is more or less what it used to be prior to the update

Battery percentage from 6am- 9 pm @ normal use Is 70%.. so I’d say that’s normal drain

That's great. While Apple didn't mention any of the bug fixes specifically, one can believe battery drain was addressed with this update, which is terrific.

Used 30% in 15 hrs and it’s Series 8, will monitor today and report

I just updated to 9.5.1 this morning. Hopefully the battery life will go back to normal.

I have an apple watch 7 SE, same problem.. after updating to OS 9.5.1 the battery started dying in less than 7 hours..

I have a series 8 and my battery doesn't last more than a work day.

i have watch 6 and after updating to watch is 9.5.1 battery drain in less than 12 hours. Earlier it gave me full 24 hours!! Any temp fixes until permanent fix is released?

No fix is likely as there is no general user-wide problem, see

Thanks! This finally worked for me also! Ugh, such a pain. They need to do better testing. We shouldn’t be required to completely un-pair and restart from scratch for an update.
