Itunes and imported CD music not available on IPAD or MACBOOK

The albums only play one track and then stop.

Is there a way to use Apple music without paying a subscription which I do not need.

1. Apple Music is a subscription service. To use it you need to pay for it.
2. The Music App on the other hand does not require a subscription to Apple Music to work, or play any songs that are saved on your computer and did not come from the subscription service. I use the Music app without a subscription to Apple Music and it works fine to play my music.
3. If you used the Apple Music subscription service at any point and deleted your songs from your computer and depended only on the iCloud Music library, then when that is canceled, it would no longer play the songs its getting from the iCloud Music library. If you have not done this, then there's no reason for your music to not play.
4. Is your library stored on the Mac? Is it stored on an external drive? Can you still see all your song files in the iTunes / Music folder.

To be clear there is absolutely no requirement to pay for the Apple Music to play your own music stored in the Music App.
