3d extrude !!!

Hello @Everyone !

Need you suggestions .....

I need to make the 3d text as sample below:

this is what we get turning 3d text in fcp:

in the sample image we have the bottom extrude of 3d text, to do that in fcp I change the rotation as:

the result is :

The text look slant top as it is it's rotated.

The sample image above looks straight and has bottom extrude , my result in fcp looks slant from top

How we can achieve the sample text 3d extrude in fcp without looking it's slaint from top ?

Hope I am able to explain my problem !

Hoping suggestions,

Thank you in advance.

It looks like the image at the top may have been achieved not by rotating but by positioning. Drag the title up using the onscreen control:

and you see the difference, e.g.:

Once you get the desired look, use the Transform Tool to reposition without changing the view of the text.

The size of your font does not leave much space for moving up and down within the frame, but if you look closely at your own video you can see that the perspective does change as you move the text up and down.

Try starting with a smaller font size, adjust and then after you got the look you are after, change the font size and/or use the Transform tool to get the size and position you need.

Here is an example.

1) I created the title on the left.

2) The one on the top right was a duplicate, which I dragged (right and) up, as previously described. Note how the perspective changed (which is what I think you wanted)

3) I duplicated the second title. I moved it down using the Transform tool (no change in perspective!); and changed the font size to make it a tad bigger.
