Apple Cash Icon Spinning/Loading on 2016 MBP running Monterey 12.6.5 & Messages 14.0 (6000)

I see others posting this question but no answers, so I figured I'd try again.

My MacBook Pro is too old to upgrade to Ventura, so maybe that is the issue.

My Cash payments work perfectly on my iPhone12. However, if I try to review Cash payments on my MBP, I get a spinning something-or-other and the word "Loading". If I scroll up to past Cash payments, they all have the same "spinning" and "loading".

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I've been using Cash for several years so something must have changed to stop Cash from working correctly on Monterey. I do not remember having this issue in previous years.

Guess that I am out of luck.

You can confirm by getting into Apple Support systems by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE and confirming my diagnose. But my understanding that the between the iOS and lack of biometric support is a limitation. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, it’s worth the call.

Does it have finger print authentication? You’ll also need to update to the latest Mac OS too.

Unfortunately, my 2016 13" MBP maxes out at Monterey. I am running the latest version of Monterey, 12.6.6.

Yes, my MBP has TouchID.

You’re limitation, for security reasons, will not support certain features because it can’t be updated to current operating systems that are required.
