IGNORE LIMIT ISSUE

Hi. My child's iPhone has IGNORE LIMIT in their options when screen time is on. I have tried to turn on the BLOCK at DOWNTIME button but it is missing so screen time is worthless. Please advise.

"IGNORE LIMIT ISSUE: Ok. If I do this - reset the phones up - will all of their apps, pictures and music populate back into the phone? Thank you.

You are welcome.

Back Up What Need Be, First:

As long as these items are backed up, then they will be accessible. If they are all Apples purchases, then they will remain on the device. If it is not purchased from Apple, then you need to export it first.

Set this Up as a Child’s Device:

Perform as instructed here, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Set it up as a child's device, and then enable Screen Time.

Set this iPhone Up Anew:

If you want to get things safely blocked out, then reset the iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Set it up you child's device, and then enable Screen Time.
