Can my iPhone be hacked through AirDrop?

Hi there

stupidly I mistakenly pressed accept and now I’m worried my phone has been hacked - any advice greatly appreciated

If the footer here is correct, consider an update to iOS 17.4.1, which has the most current security and fixes, and which has reworked and updated AirDrop support.

AirDrop also reverts from “everyone” to “contacts only” after ten minutes in iOS 16.2 and later, so that AirDrop was quite probably from a contact of yours. (Or you’re on a very old iOS 16 version, or older.)
