unauthorized app

I while browsing by mistake downloaded an app from a website, couldn’t cancel it. I came across the web how scammers use inject technology, i believe i am a victim of the same.

But the app doesn’t show in my App Library Does this mean the app install was cancelled?

i am a first time apple user, please guide me to find if any unwanted software has been downloaded on my device and where to find it and how to prevent such things from happening in future.
