Whatsapp camera and microphone

Whatsapp only get the camera and microphone authorization when there is a video call. Without video calling, no camera and microphone authorization. I want an automation or shortcut for this.

For an exemple, when I go in snapchats en it wants me to give permission for the camera and under it there is a “go to settings” button, then (obliviously) I go in settings but it does not have the option to activate camera or microphone. Allow Apps to use microphone / camera: No + in settings Hello. I'm new to the community (using OS Monterey 12.4) and have the same problem described in this thread, though it doesn't seem to me that it's solved. One app (Skype) asked for access, this was allowed and it appears in the Privacy list but no other apps and no + sign. When trying to use WhatsApp it cannot detect a microphone, though this is installed and working. The Apple recommended answer doesn't seem to address the missing + sign question.
