Apple Numbers not responding. (The program not keys)

I use a mac mini and MacBook air and have the same problem on both. I have an iPad with Numbers on the same iCloud account, but haven't used it for this purpose. The problem i recently developed is that when i highlight a few groups and right click, the program stops responding and ai have to force quit. It seems to be progressively worsening. At first it was just taking about 45 seconds with the spinning mouse, and i figured it was just taking time to grab the information. So i started cutting down the information i was grabbing. But now im working with much smaller amounts of data and it's still having the problem. The spreadsheet below only has about 16k rows and 35 columns. But It'll freeze if i gab those top 10 groups which is about 2,300 rows.

I'm just right clicking with those numbers highlighted and it freezes. It doesn't even show the right click menu. Initially it was only taking a moment when i would select the groups and click "copy snapshot." Now it freezes just from right clicking multiple categories.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Numbers on the Mini with no difference. And of course ive turned off and on both computers several times. No change.
