Subscription doesn't get charged on renew date but days later

Hello all,

I just started to notice the past month of so that my subscriptions don't charge my Apple Card on the actual renew date but instead randomly gets charged days/weeks later.

Anybody noticed this?

Example:

Hulu renews on the 14th of each month.

Apple Card got charged on the 14th and also received the renew receipt email.

It got charged on the 24th to the card and received the email that day as well.

That’s an outside subscription (not an Apple service or product like Apple Care, Apple Music etc.) Most subscriptions are pre-authorized and happen on the renewal date, but Hulu might have a different method. Have you talked to Hulu support to get their input?
