MacBook Pro early 2011 with Dell Thunderbolt Dock

Hello, my coworker has a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011) which has the Mini DisplayPort. He would like to connect a Dell Thunderbolt Dock WD22TB4 which has the USB Type-C connector.

How can I get this to work, is there an adapter available?

thank you for any help!!

The Dell docks have been problematic BEFORE you try to convert from ThunderBolt-2/MiniDisplayport to ThunderBolt-3/USB-C. That specific Dock says it requires either Windows 10...

or Windows 11.

The adapter that might allow it to works costs US$50, and is only good for genuine Thunderbolt devices on both sides. For US$50, you can make a good dent in an up-to-date Dock that works better with Macs.
