Brand new Macbook pro 2023 (M2 Pro), every time the laptop sleeps, or the display turns off, Skype freezes. I am unable to send/receive messages, clicking on the conversations does nothing. Right mouse click on the Skype icon on Dock quits it, but it takes 10 seconds then quits. Ventura 13.4, the same was on Venture 13.1. Anybody had the same issue resolved? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Got the same problem. New macbook air m2. Fresh skype install and got skype UI freeze after laptop goes to sleep
This solution worked for me
Download old rosetta version of Skype - download.skype.com/s4l/download/mac/Skype-8.93.0.404.dmg
Install it over you current version. Launch it. Press update. And you are on current version of skype and it no longer freezes.
Fixed yesterday, update os and Skype all good now. Thankfully!
