Photos on 13

On my Iphone 13 each photo takes a second before it is taken. I found that this is caused be the crescent moonish bottom with lines through it. I can’t however figure out how to turn it off and have turned off all automatic reset camera things in settings.

Are you referring to the camera symbol shown below?



What you are seeing is the Night Mode feature of the camera. This feature is used when available light is very low. Multiple seconds exposure is used to keep the shutter open to allow more light to fall on the sensor and expose the image properly in dark situations.

How do you turn it OFF? You simply tap on it when it is activated and it will turn OFF for that photo.
