What is the word “DO” mean at the top right corner of my iPhone, next to my batter status icon?

I believe that it is part of your Home Screen background itself. Not sure how it got added to the background. I recommend that you change the Home Screen background wallpaper and see whether that resolves the issue.

Being a bit dimmed out, it migh be part of the background. So, view this image in Photos. See if it is then seen.

Zooming in on the far right, it looks more like "dor" or "don".

So, to rid of it, you might need to reset this to factory settings.

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this all began, and how you have troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Actualily, I believe that the battery icon, wi-Fi symbol etc. (the entire top row) is part of the screen shot that was taken to create the wallpaper. This is the reason the letters DONE appear to be on top of the battery icon because, at the time of the screenshot, those letters were overlapping.

I thought that too! But how could they be overlapping at the time of the screenshot? I’ve never seen anything cover those icons before. But obviously, it was part of the screenshot if changing wallpapers fixed it… Interesting.

I wonder though, how it overrode the battery icon. I’ve never seen a Wallpaper partially, or fully cover any icon at the top of my iPhone… 🤔
